Pre Flight Preperations
Once you are happy with your purchase from Harrington Stables, we can take care of your international transport requirements from A to Z. When your horse is ready to be sent, we will organise any pre-export tests (blood test/swabs) that may be needed to ensure safe travel to the destination.
We will give you a full breakdown of transport costs and provide free stabling in our care prior to your horse’s travel arrangements, for up to two weeks. Also we are happy to start your horse’s learning development (if not broken) or further educate (if broken) at additional costs.
Departure to Destination
For export outside of the UK horses will require export papers and if necessary customs documents which our shippers will handle entirely for you, including the vet check. For countries outside of the EU they will be able to advise you of an agent to handle the import through to the final destination. Your horse will be collected from Harrington Stables and transported to the airport stabling facility prior to the scheduled flight to rest. Experienced and professional attendants on the ground and in the air make travel from departure to landing as smooth and stress free as possible.
Final Step – On Arrival To Destination
Once your horse lands safely at the destination airport and meets all quarantine requirements, if applicable, we can arrange onward journey plans so that your horse can be delivered straight to you.
